The Tara Retreat Centre is a spiritual sanctuary being built in Gelephu Mindfulness City, Bhutan. Dedicated to Tara, the female Buddha — the embodiment of compassion in action — it will serve as a world-class centre for Tara practice, meditation, retreat, learning, and spiritual renewal.
We welcome practitioners, pilgrims, visitors, and seekers from Bhutan and around the world, offering a place to slow down, reconnect, and walk the path of mindful living within Bhutan’s profound Vajrayana tradition.
